Playmat Areas

The seven zones of the playmat and what each one does.

Each player's side of the playmat is divided into seven distinct areas. Understanding what each zone does is essential to playing the game correctly.

AreaFunction
Fixer AreaStarting location for all six dice. On your turn, select one die from here and roll it to claim a Gig.
Gig AreaHolds all Gig Dice you have claimed. Your Street Cred equals the sum of the face values of all dice here.
FieldThe combat zone where your Unit cards are played and battles take place.
Eddies AreaYour currency reserve. Cards are placed here sideways (spent) to generate Eddies and pay costs.
Legends AreaHolds your three Legend cards, placed face-down at game start. Spend 2 Eddies to flip one face-up.
DeckYour draw pile. You draw one card at the start of each of your turns.
TrashThe discard area where defeated Units, used Programs, and other removed cards are placed.

The d20 die in the Fixer Area is always the last die you may claim in a game — it cannot be rolled until all other dice have left the Fixer Area.
